دير مار روكز – مراح المير القليعاتيُعتَبَر دير مار روكز – مراح المير أوَّل ديرٍ للرهبانيَّة في قضاء كسروان. بُني في ٢٦ أيلول ١٨٥٤، في عهد الأب العام سابا كرَيدي، بعد أن حصلت الرهبانيّة على رضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن. وكان الانتهاء من بناء الدير سنة ١٨٦٢. سنة ١٩٩٠ رُمّم الدّير بعد القذائف التي دمّرت قسمًا كبيرًا منه، وبنيت بقربه مدرسة لتعليم الأولاد.The Monastery of St Rock - Mrah el Mir QlayaatThe Monastery of St Rock is the first one for the Lebanese Maronite Order in Kesserwan. It was built in 26 september 1854 during the reign of Abbot Saba Kreidy after the approval of Patriarch Youssef Raji el Khazen, and the construction was done in 1862. In 1990 the monastery was renovated after it was damaged by bombshells during the civil war. A shcool was added to educate local children.

بنى الدّير الشيخ عاد صخر الخازن سنة ١٧٢٠ وجعله للراهبات العابدات. واتّبعت عابداته قانون الراهبة هنديّة قبل إلغاء رهبانيّتها. بقي الدّير حتّى منتصف القرن العشرين يضمّ بنات وأرامل العائلة الخازنيّة اللواتي خصّصن حياتهنّ للصلاة. واليوم هو وقفٌ خاص للعائلة. كنيسته صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالب، تضمّ لوحة العذراء المُرضعة وهي رومانيّة المصدر.

The monastery of Our Lady of the milk - Sahel Alma

The monastery was built by Sheikh Aad Sakher el Khazen in 1720, who gave it to the cloistered nuns that followed the rules of Mother Hendiyé Ajaimi before her order was dissolved. The monastery housed until the mid XXth century the daughters and the widows of the Khazen family who consecrated their lives to religion. The monastery is now a private possession of the Khazen family. The church is a crossed vault structure holding a roman painting depicting the blessed mother feeding the Lord.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس البادوانيّ - بلّونة

بناها الشيخ فخر بن عبد الملك بن نوفل بن نادر الخازن ١٧٨٣، جُدّدت على يد أحفاد المؤسّس. هي كنيسة صغيرة ووقفيّة ذريّة لآل الخازن. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاويّ.

The church of St Anthony of Padua - Ballouneh

The church was built by Sheikh Fakher son of Abdul Malek Al Khazen, in 1783. It was renewed many times by his descendants. The small church is a private familial chapel. The painting is the work of Kanaan Dib of Dlebta.

محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - بقرقاشا

هذه المحبسة المبنيّة في حرف شيرٍ صخريّ، تعود للقرون الوسطى. بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ بنتها سنة ١١١٢ تقلا إبنة الخوري باسيل البشرّاني على إسم مار جرجس ومار ضوميط، وما برحت وتحوّلت على اسم مار سمعان العاموديّ. يشهد على ذلك كتاب الريش قُريان السريانيّ الخاص بالمحبسة، الذي يعود لسنة ١٢٤٢، وهو محفوظ في جامعة السلامانكا.

St Simon the stylite hermitage - Bqorqasha

The hermitage is built on the slope of a rocky cliff in the holy valley of Qannoubin. It dates back according to patriarch Stephen Al Douwaihy to year 1112 when Thekle the daughter of a priest named Basil of Bsharre built a hermitage dedicated to Sts George and Doumith, that was rededicated to St Simon the stylite. A Syriac lectionary proper to the hermitage, the Rish Qoryan, dating back to 1242, that was discovered and conserved in Salamanca’s university, attests this story.
