دير مار روكز – مراح المير القليعاتيُعتَبَر دير مار روكز – مراح المير أوَّل ديرٍ للرهبانيَّة في قضاء كسروان. بُني في ٢٦ أيلول ١٨٥٤، في عهد الأب العام سابا كرَيدي، بعد أن حصلت الرهبانيّة على رضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن. وكان الانتهاء من بناء الدير سنة ١٨٦٢. سنة ١٩٩٠ رُمّم الدّير بعد القذائف التي دمّرت قسمًا كبيرًا منه، وبنيت بقربه مدرسة لتعليم الأولاد.The Monastery of St Rock - Mrah el Mir QlayaatThe Monastery of St Rock is the first one for the Lebanese Maronite Order in Kesserwan. It was built in 26 september 1854 during the reign of Abbot Saba Kreidy after the approval of Patriarch Youssef Raji el Khazen, and the construction was done in 1862. In 1990 the monastery was renovated after it was damaged by bombshells during the civil war. A shcool was added to educate local children.

كنيسة مار يوسف - القبع جزّين

بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٠ بسعي عائلة غانم الذين جعلوا مدافنهم بقربها. جدّدت في ١٩ آذار سنة ١٩٦٣. الكنيسة صغيرة، تتبع رعيّة بلدة قيتولة جزّين، تضم لوحةً غربيّة الصنع لمار يوسف، وتتميّز بالنقوش والزخرفة على الجصّ.

The church of St Joseph - Eh Qobeh Jezzine

The church was built in 1900 by the Ghanem family who built their cemetery near it. It was renewed on the 19th of march 1963. The church is small, a dependency of the nearby Qaytouli’s parish. It possesses a classical painting of St Joseph. The church also contains intricate Gipson carvings.

هي بقايا لكنيسةٍ أثريّةٍ مكرّسة على اسم مار إسطفانوس، بُنيت على أنقاض رومانيّة أواسط القرن الثاني أو الثالث عشر. تتميّز بشكلها الدائريّ.

كنيسة مار فوقا – أميون
كنيسة مار فوقا كنيسة أرثوذكسيّة تعود الى العهد الصليبيّ. شُيِّدت فوق معبد وثنيّ فوقه كنيسة بيزنطيّة تعود الى القرن السابع. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة، بثلاثة أروقة. تحوي الكنيسة جداريّات بيزنطيّة، تُمَثِّل السيد المسيح والعذراء مريم والرُسُل والقدّيسين، منهم مار فوقا ومار سمعان. دُفن في هذه الكنيسة قائد الجيش البيزنطيّ موريق، الذي أرسله الامبراطور يوستينيانوس لِقَمع تَمَرُّد الموارنة، وقتل في المواجهة التي حدثت في أميون بين الفريقين سنة ٦٩٤.

The church of St Focas - Amioun

The church of St Focas is a Greek Orthodox church built during the times of the Crusades, over a VIIth century Byzantine church built over a Roman temple. The church is basilical with three naves. It is decorated with medieval frescoes depicting Christ, the Theotokos, Apostles and other saints. In this church is buried the Byzantine commander Moricius sent by emperor Justinian to quell the Maronite’s revolt in 694, and died in the battle of Amioun.
