دير مار روكز – مراح المير القليعاتيُعتَبَر دير مار روكز – مراح المير أوَّل ديرٍ للرهبانيَّة في قضاء كسروان. بُني في ٢٦ أيلول ١٨٥٤، في عهد الأب العام سابا كرَيدي، بعد أن حصلت الرهبانيّة على رضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن. وكان الانتهاء من بناء الدير سنة ١٨٦٢. سنة ١٩٩٠ رُمّم الدّير بعد القذائف التي دمّرت قسمًا كبيرًا منه، وبنيت بقربه مدرسة لتعليم الأولاد.The Monastery of St Rock - Mrah el Mir QlayaatThe Monastery of St Rock is the first one for the Lebanese Maronite Order in Kesserwan. It was built in 26 september 1854 during the reign of Abbot Saba Kreidy after the approval of Patriarch Youssef Raji el Khazen, and the construction was done in 1862. In 1990 the monastery was renovated after it was damaged by bombshells during the civil war. A shcool was added to educate local children.

كنيسة مار ضوميط - مشمش

الكنيسة الحاليّة بدأ بناؤها سنة ١٨٤١ على أنقاض آثارٍ رومانيّة ما زالت ظاهرة. كُرّست الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٣ وهي كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب من حجارة البلدة، ينتهي بحنية. تمّ ترميمها بين سنة ٢٠١٣ وسنة ٢٠١٧. تتميّز هذه الكنيسة بأيقونة مار ضوميط التي تعود إلى القرن التاسع عشر.

The Church of St. Doumit - Mechmech

The church was built in 1841 over Roman ruins that are still visible. It was dedicated in 1863. The structure consists of a rib vault made with stones from the village's quarries. The church was restored from 2013 till 2017. It holds a 19th-century icon of St. Doumit.

دير مار يوحنّا مارون - كفرحي

يروي التقليد أنّ القدّيس يوحنّا مارون، بنى الدير على أنقاض بيتٍ سكنه العبّاد يوم سيم اسقفًا على البترون في العام ٦٧٦، ونقل إليه هامة مار مارون وسمّاه ريش موران أي رأس مارون، وجعله كرسيّه بعد انتخابه بطريركًا سنة ٦٨٥. أقام في الدّير، البطاركة الموارنة المتعاقبون إلى دانيال الشاماتي. آل الدّير إلى الخراب بعد أن دمّره يوسف سيفا سنة ١٦٣٤. أعاد بناؤه البطريرك يوسف أسطفان سنة ١٧٨٧ وكرّسه على إسم مار يوحنّا مارون، وجعل فيه مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث ما لبثت أن تحوّلت لإكليريكيّة سنة ١٨١٨ بأمر البطريرك يوحنّا الحلو. الديّر اليوم كرسيّ أساقفة البترون، وهو الشاهد على تاريخ الموارنة في لبنان.

The monastery of St John Maroun - Kfarhay

According to tradition, St John Maroun built the first monastery when he was the bishop of Batroun in 676 over a hermitage, and brought to it the holy relic of the forehead of St Maroun and named it Rish Moran or the head of St Maroun. He made the monastery his patriarcal seat when he was elected in 685. The succeeding patriarchs lived in the monastery until Daniel el Shamaty. The monastery was destroyed by Youssef Sayfa in 1634.
Patriarch Youssef Estfen rebuilt it with a school and consecrated it to St John Maroun, the school was transformed into a seminary in 1818 by a decree of Patriarch Youhanna el Helo.
The monastery is now the seat of the bishops of Batroun, and the witness to the Maronite history.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨١٢ وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٨٤١. بُنيت القبّة بسعي المغتربين سنة ١٩١٠. لوحة العذراء التي تعلو المذبح منقولة عن مادونا سيستينا لرافايل. في الكنيسة العديد من الأيقونات والسقف مكسو بالجداريات من عمل أ. روكز سنة ٢٠١٢.

The church was built in 1812, and consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1841. The Campanile was built in 1910 with the donations of the village’s diaspora. The painting of the Madona over the high altar is a copy of the Madona Sistina of Raphael. The church is rich in icons, and the vault is covered in frescoes painted by I. Roukos in 2012.
