كنيسة سيّدة النجاة - بكاسين

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٥٥، بعقدٍ مصالب. تعرّضت للتخريب إبّان حوادث سنة ١٨٦٠، ورمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة سيّدة الحبل بلا دنس وهي من عمل غربيّ، كذلك لوحة مار يوسف ومجموعة زجاجيّات.

The church of Our Lady of Deliverance - Bkassine

The church was built in 1855, and consists of a single arched vault. The building was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and finally restored in the late XXth century. The church holds a European late XIXth century painting depicting the Immaculate conception. The modern painting of St Joseph and the stained glass windows are the work of the artist André Nammour.

كنيسة سيّدة البشوشة - بكركي

هي كنيسة الموقع الأوّل لدير بكركي قبل بناء الصرح الحاليّ. بناها الشيخ خطّار الخازن سنة ١٧٠٣ مع الدّير، وسكنه الرّهبان الأنطونيّون سنة ١٧٣٠. سلّم البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد الكنيسة والدّير والأملاك الى رهبان مار اشعيا برضى المشايخ الخوازنة ولا سيَّما الشيخ خطار، لكن بعد وفاة الشيخ خطّار، وقع الخلاف بين ولَدَيه، وبين الأنطونيَّين، فطردوا منه، وباعوا الدّير الى المطران جرمانوس صقر لقاء ٣٥٠٠ غرش، وذلك سنة ١٧٥٠، وأكملوا بهذا المبلغ دير مار يوحنا المعمدان - عجلتون. أمّا المطران صقر فجعل الدّير مقرًّا لأخويّة قلب يسوع التي أسّستها الراهبة هنديّة عجيمي، التي بدورها نقلت الدّير الى موقعه الحاليّ. ولم يبقَ من الدّير القديم سوى كنيسة سيّدة البشوشة، نسبةً الى ايقونة العذراء المتبسمة.

The chapel of Our Lady of Bchouche - Bkerke

The chapel was the church of the first monastery of Bkerke. It was built by Cheikh Khattar el Khazen in 1703, and the Antonine Maronite Order took the monastery as a residence in 1730. The monastery was eventually given to the order with a decree made by Patriarch Jacob Awad and the Sheikhs of the Khazen family. Nevertheless after the death of Sheikh Khattar there was a dispute between his sons and the Antonines, and the laters were forced to leave and sell the monastery to Bishop Germanos Saker in 1750 for 3500 Ottoman piasters, money that they used to accomplish St John’s monastery in Ajaltoun. Bishop Saker made Bkerke’s monastery a motherhouse for the new congregation of The Sacred Heard founded by Hindyeh Ojeimy. The congregation left the old monastery and built the current one nearby. Of the old monastery only the church persists. It is named Bshoushe meaning the Smiling Virgin.

كنيسة المخلّص، حمّانا - Church of the Saviour, Hammana, Hammana, Lebanon

كنيسة المخلص - حمّاتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٥ بموجب اتفاق بين عائلتي أبي يونس وعاد يعود ل٢٨ تشرين الأوّل سنة ١٩٠٢، صادق عليه المطران نعمةالله سلوان. بنيت الكنيسة على مراحل كما تشهد المداميك البارزة في جدرانها. كرّس الكنيسة الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك سنة ١٩٣٩. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالب مرتفع، تنتهي بحنية مستقيمة ومذبح، رمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. للكنيسة قبّتين للجرس إحداها مثمّنة الأضلاع والأخرى مربعة. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث لوحات من عمل داوود القرم تُمثّل التجلي والسيّدة ومار يوسف.

The church of the Holy Savior - Hammana

In 1902 an accord to build a church was concluded between the two families of Abi Youness and Aad, it was promulgated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan on the 28th of October. The construction ended in 1905. The church was consecrated by Chorbishop Youssef el Hayek in 1939. The structure consists of a crossed vault with three straight apses and three altars. The church was renovated in the late XXth century. The building is ornated with two bell towers one octagonal and the other squared. The church holds three paintings by Dawood el Qorm depicting the Transfiguration, the Madonna and St Joseph.
