دير مار روكز – مراح المير القليعاتيُعتَبَر دير مار روكز – مراح المير أوَّل ديرٍ للرهبانيَّة في قضاء كسروان. بُني في ٢٦ أيلول ١٨٥٤، في عهد الأب العام سابا كرَيدي، بعد أن حصلت الرهبانيّة على رضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن. وكان الانتهاء من بناء الدير سنة ١٨٦٢. سنة ١٩٩٠ رُمّم الدّير بعد القذائف التي دمّرت قسمًا كبيرًا منه، وبنيت بقربه مدرسة لتعليم الأولاد.The Monastery of St Rock - Mrah el Mir QlayaatThe Monastery of St Rock is the first one for the Lebanese Maronite Order in Kesserwan. It was built in 26 september 1854 during the reign of Abbot Saba Kreidy after the approval of Patriarch Youssef Raji el Khazen, and the construction was done in 1862. In 1990 the monastery was renovated after it was damaged by bombshells during the civil war. A shcool was added to educate local children.

كنيسة تجلّي الربّ - غابة الأرز
بدأ البناء سنة ١٨٤٤ مع الخوري يوحنا شبيعا، بموجب مرسوم بطريركيّ في عهد البطريرك يوسف حبيش. أُكمل البناء على مراحل سنتي ١٩٣٦ و١٩٨٣، وُرمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. المذبح مصنوع من خشب الأرز المحفور من عمل الحرفيّ سليم أبي قبلان جعجع. أيقونة التجليّ تنتمي للمدرسة المقدسيّة.

The church of the Transfiguration of the Lord - The Cedar forest

The church was first built in 1844 by Fr Youhanna Shebaiaa, with a decree from Patriarch Youssef Hobeich. The construction was reworked in 1936 and 1983. The church was restored in 1990. The high altar is made of cedar wood by the craftsman Selim Abi Qabalaan Geagea. The icon of the Transfiguration is an issue from the school of Jerusalem.

بنى الكنيسة الشيخ موسى الخازن سنة ١٧٢٨ وكانت وقفيّةً لآل الخازن. الكنيسة عقد مزدوج فريد بزخرفته ومقرنصاته وفتحات الضوء في السقف. كانت الكنيسة لزمنٍ طويل مرتبطة بعائلة الخازن إلى أن قامت بين سنتيّ ١٩٠٢ و ١٩٠٤ عاميّة زوق مكايل. في ذلك الزمان هدّد الأهالي بتحوّلهم إلى المذهب الأنغليكانيّ، ولتحول البطريركيّة دون ذلك، حوّلت وقفيّة الكنيسة من عائلة الخازن إلى أهالي البلدة، وخصّ البطريرك الياس الحويّك الرعيّة بزيارةٍ حبريّة وبعددِ من الإنعامات. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والتحف الكنسيّة القيّمة. رمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين.
The church of St Doumit - Zouk Mikael
The church was built in 1728 by Sheikh Moussa el Khazen as a private church for the Khazen family. The structure is ornate with arabesque decoration and lucarnes in the vault, blending cribbed and crossed vaults. The church was a fiefdom of the Khazen family until the uprising of the peasants between 1902 and 1904. Back then the Maronite Patriarchy made the church a parish for the people to prevent them from turning to anglicanism. Also the Patriarch Elias Howayek made a pontifical visit to the parish and gave the parish many indulgences. The church holds a lot goldsmith artifacts and paintings. The building was renovated in the eighties of the XXth century.

كنيسة سيّدة الشير - عينطورين

هي كنيسة على سفح الوادي المقدّس، بُنيت في القرن الثاني عشر، واتّخذها الأسقف تادروس مقرًّا له إلى يوم وفاته سنة ١٥٠٢ بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ. بقيت الكنيسة فترةً طويلة مُهملة إلى أن رُمّمت في ستينيّات القرن العشرين.

The church of our Lady of the Cliff - Aintourin

The church is built on the cliff side of the Holy Valley. The church was built in the XIIth century and was made an episcopal residence by Bishop Tadros until his death in 1502, according to Patriarch Douweihy. The church was left abandoned for a long time and restored during the sixties.
